Blondes....Brunettes? or even a hot Red!!
Ladies and Gentleman, Boys and girls, my fellow GG's and anybody else listening I'm back!!!! da darrrrr (shit fan fair)!!!...... awkward! But hey I'm back and here to stay! So its been one hell of a year and I stopped blogging and got very carried away with living! But now I return with a lot to catch up on.
So soon after Birmingham Pride last year which I'm still buzzing about, I packed up my welly's and my 17 man tent and hit V festival 2011!
There I was, well and truly loving the single life, completely over the ex, finding myself full of confidence and looking super skinny from the mental job I had just started and wow there she was the girl I'd been waiting for.
After an epic 8 hour traffic jam/party on the M6 we managed to find ourself's swamped by tents and trendy hunter welly's, the tunes were blaring, a mixed smell of disposable bbq's and portaloo's, however not a spare patch of grass to pitch up in sight.
Until a lovely group of randomer's offered us some space, and a ciggi and a glass of wine!!!!!! My first thought's were these girls are extremely generous lovely kind hearted people or very WRECKED!.... Turns out it was a mixture of the two! but nether the less one instantly caught my attention.
She was beautiful even in festival gear, but not your normal kind of beautiful more like an exciting kind of beautiful that I'd never seen before! Without sounding like a sick loved up weirdo, She had something different about her, something that I'll never be able to put down in words. We had the most amazing weekend together, however nothing happened between us, I mean I wasn't really looking for anything and I doubt she was.
There I was so preoccupied searching for my beautiful brunette or blonde bomb shell that I totally did not see the my hot red coming.
There is plenty to tell you about how we got together, it certainly took a while but 9 months later she's my full time girlfriend and I'm extremely happy.
I guess what I'm trying to say gg's is that it happens when you least except it....maybe not in the form of a drunken red head offering out wine but it will happen, so keep your eyes open but don't focus on looking for something.
So that was just a quick insight into what's been happening in my world altho there is much more but its quarter to one and I have work in the morning!
Lots coming up! My girlfriends hair show, Birmingham pride, a possible move? a gg competition and of course plenty of pickles!
tweet me up

Can a GG who’s already got a GG have some new GG friends????????

The big question and ongoing debate in my gay world is...Can a gay girl who’s in a relationship meet and have other gay girl mates???? Now this was one of the big factors to my breakup believe it or not, there i was smack bang in a full time lovely relationship and without realising it i had drifted away from any gay mates i had. It was a nightmare if i tried to make an effort with any of my existing gay mates let alone branching out and making new gay friends. I tried to explain to my girlfriend i wasn’t interested in meeting anyone else as i was very much in love with her but thought it was important to have other mates, gay and straight. She wasn’t TOO keen. I remember once chatting to a mutual friend of ours one night who happens to be gay and let me stress not my type; never the less i HAD to sleet in the corridor that night!
It seems that your either single with gay girl mates, or in a relationship with none! And in my book this sucks gg ass! I mean what’s wrong with having trust and ur own mates. Let’s face it a lot of cheating and sleaze does happen on the gay scene but not all gay girls are like that. I’m not for one!!!
I actually came to the conclusion in my relationship if i wanted to branch out and make some more gg mates i couldn’t be in a relationship with my gg. I mean there was more to the breakup than that, but it definitely contributed. I mean my personality is all about the mates, and i realised if she can’t trust me then i can’t do it. I like to think i break the gg mould a little bit, I’m not a serial cheater or after the next best thing on the scene but i do like making new friends. I made the classic mistake of putting all my gg eggs in one basket with my ex, when we split their i was left as billie gay mates.
So i warn you gg’s if you’re in a relationship make sure you make time for your friends still, if she doesn’t like it you need to explain you have to have friends time.
Now I’m single it’s amazing, i can talk to who i want when i want and see my mates on a regular basis. However it’s important that when ur chatting to other gay girls and you only want friendship to make it clear as it can get a little confusing.
Moral of tonight’s blog, you can never have enough mates, although know your boundaries and make sure you’re with a cool girl that trusts you.
Want to hear from you gg’s, are u in an intense relationship wanting other gay mates but scared your misses will turn into a right mentalist, or are u worried your girlfriends making friends and getting up to more? Wow suddenly i feel like Jeremy Kyle/jerry Springer! How cool would that be though a gg jezza? hahah
Lots of love gg

3. So so so awkward
4. Drank like I was Amy winehouse and came on to every1 in the room errrrr
5. Pulled a girl that all my ex and her mates knew! (Which I promised myself I wouldn’t do as i hate how inbred the gay scene is)
6. Ended up calling it off as felt bad! Oh and found out she was the biggest player in the history of the gay scene err sick off....You’re not Jessie j u know!!!
7. Went on the date from hell and when I say hell I mean hell!!!!!!
8. Met some awesome new mates from work and bagged myself a new best gayfriend

15. Got a little bit addicted again to full fat coke.... which needs to stops
16. Met a really cool gay girl but was too drunk to enter her number in my phone errrrr mistake
17. Listened to a lot of chase and status

18. Realised there’s no point if ur not always being yourself! and if people don't like you for it then chance's are they're a gimpo!

Shoot for the Moon G-G's....
Hello my lovely gg's....so I’ve finally done it! I’ve made a start on the GG you tube channel this week .......(check out the link by clicking on the little video box at the side of this page)
It’s just an intro video check it out if you haven’t already! although I must warn you I look very tired and sound like I need a lem-sip (got the flu) (god great sell on the vid there hey ha-ha).
Planning to do another video later this week before I start my new job….so please subscribe lovelies and let me know what you think guys, really appreciate it.
Just had a lovely little weekend in London town for my friends birthday. We went out to an awesome little COOL bar called 'The book club' really trendy... in little Shoreditch.... Which kind of got me thinking I should move back down there. Altho i've got some lovely friends here...there's much more going ON in London and a wicked vibe... unlike my home town.

For example...the biggest news that’s happened this week in my hometown is a new bar opening…. and wait for it the names interesting?….’LOOSE BOX’ yep loose box….Jesus Christ. It get's even better, I was scrolling down the advert in the paper and noticed on Monday night’s they’re hosting a gay night….titled ‘HOMO’. Right firstly if I get spotted in something like ‘HOMO’ I can officially kiss good bye to my okish rep.... and secondly it’s just an invitation for the local homophobe’s in my town to have a right laugh… possible with a baseball bat. I mean I see what they're trying to do with the title… it is funny in a sort of way….....but they need to make it trendy and stylish to everyone! Not bloody sleazy HOMO ha-ha geek off loose box!

So I’ve landed a new job this week which is cool and exciting bit scared about it but should be awesome. I’ve just got to quit eating crisps, join a gym and im well on my way to my break-up afterlife. Going to be chatting on my vids about the next steps to take after breaking up with ur gg (can be a pretty tough time for some so hopefully I can give u some tips or at least try haha).

p.s my old gg's coming over to my place soon to split our DVD'S......i feel i could be loosing a lot of dvd's in this divorce hehe. No on a serious note things are really good between us so looks like a nice friendships on the cards like most gg breakups...well i hope it is ;)
anyways guys have a cracking week and speak soon!
Love GG xx

Ever Fallen in Love, In Love with someone you shouldn’t have fallen in Love with!!!
Firstly I owe you… a little apology! I feel like I‘ve totally let my GG side down lately! I have something to confess… I’m not a Coronation Street girl!…… well I wasn’t..until now. Kind of had my eyes opened to the whole Sophie/Sian story line this week by a legend GG tweeter. I mean I’d heard about them obviously…. I’m not completely off the GG planet! Just hadn’t been following the story line. I guess I was all wrapped up in my own Sophie and Sian saga!!!!!!!

I think the story line is awesome, I mean it crushes your little GG heart….. When you find out the actresses our in fact straight as a ruler in real life. However I think it’s awesome what they’re doing for the G-Girls, they’re BRINGING IT to the main stream, breaking the whole stereotype thing and setting awesome role models for younger G-girls.
Anyways got me thinking about how similar my GG LOVE was to Sophie and Sian’s, the ups and downs, the insecurities, that MAD love feeling when you fall head over heels in GG love.
I mean don’t get me wrong my mum’s not Sally Webster for Christ sake, but there has definitely been similarities. I watched a YOU-TUBE clip of when Sally heard of her 'Sophies’ lesbian rumors. This was sally’s reaction around the coffee table…and wait its good….
“Lesbian my EYE!…I’m having no dungarees in this HOUSE. I’ll have you know".
Aww sally bless your little Corrie socks ….everyone knows dungarees were so 100 years ago.

Ha WEB OFF…My point is though parents can sometimes make you feel like being different isn’t so much of a good thing. Let's face it.... Sally and Kevin’s idea of a wild night is red wine and beans on toast, so you can imagine when soph’s GAYGIRL news broke they weren’t exactly hyped…...more like SHOCKED to high heaven.
Coming out can be very scary, very scaring indeed…Just because you’ve fallen for someone doesn’t mean you have to bounce out the gg box waving a rainbow flag shouting IM GAY as a pineapple (Don’t know why I said pineapple… just sounded kind of right). You should just explain to your parents, sister, brother or mate that you’ve fallen in love with someone for who they are. You may be a little confused about your sexuality but your probs not confused as to how you feel about this person. On the flip side you could just know straight away who you are and want to shout it from the rooftops and that’s awesome, it’s just which ever suits you really.

(me and the 'BIG LOVE' three years ago tipsy in a hotel room)
My outburst/ Declaration of being in love with a girl was somewhat more dramatic. Fuelled by a drunken row with my secret gg. I woke my house up staggering through the door, crying and trying to make some sort of disgusting drunk food snack. Looking like Amy Winehouse/ Mascara face…I shouted at my mum….YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND THOUGH.…this behavior went on for a while whilst I hunted through cupboards trying to find random RANK sandwich fillings. I mean I really wanted to talk to my lovely mum and tell her that I’d had my heart broken by a girl, but just didn’t know where to start. It felt in my head like the worst thing ever.
Which now I can look back on and cringe/laugh, I ended up blurring it out to my sister who I had also woken up. She was so cool with it, and her reaction was just like ’Aww cool Ames, that’s ok..Actually that’s quite cool’. I understand that not everyone’s family is this opened minded and I have some tips coming your way for this very soon.
Other news this week:
>My blackberry broke today. Sad times.
>My ‘big love’ ex GG has moved out our house. Weird times.
>And I’m starting a you-tube channel. Good times.
Chat soon lovely… I’ve got a date with Lilly Allen and some shop she‘s opening.
Love GG. x

Few...Advantages of being a GG'.....
TOP GG ADVANTAGES

So my last blog got me thinking (Yeah it's ok..my brain doesn't hurt)....there’s a good few advantages to being a gay girl you know! So if you’re feeling a bit down for being a bit different- here’s some points for the old gg self-esteem. ( p.s It’s not designed to be anti-lads... I love boy-legends.... it’s just about the advantages of us GG’S).
Being a GG Bloody rocks because......In no particular order:
1.Your Never ever...stuck for clothes or face wipes.... you can just kick your girlfriends.
2. You Never have to be made to watch really really boring boy action films.
3.Walk of Shames-are extinct- if you do have a cheeky once night stand you can borrow there straighteners and makeup and look fresh as a daisy!
4.No Boy farts in the duvet errrr
5.You create strangely good friends with your ex’s.
6.Ermm no pregnancy panics or CRINGE ‘have you got a condom?’ moments ha-ha
7.If you’re a teenage GG you can have your girlfriend sleep over with out your dad acting like the Godfather....
8.“No you’re not allowed to come out...It’s a boys night” Is never a problem.
9. No toilet seat up- Related arguments.
10.Your girlfriend totally gets why you act like a crazed loon on your period.
11. And don't you be forgetting now..... the like's of Hotties, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Jessy J all really want to be GG'S.
These are just a few, in fact there’s bloody loads off advantages for us GG’s! So be proud of how lucky you are and all that haha chin up you rock!!
Please feel free to add your own GG’s.
laters taters ;)

Love GG x
IT'S ALL ABOUT TO CHANGEEEEE......
Ey up lovelies,
hows tricks your side? I’ve had a pretty cool week to be 'Ann' Frank with you. Met up with some of my old school friends, which was lovely and I’ve only gone and bloody Bagged myself a little v-ticket.
EXCITED about this is an understatement..... very much looking forward to seeing some of the big names.... like the gorgeous Jessie J and my Man crush Eminem. It’s such a good line up so i’m really really excited....i’m even thinking of going white ASS blonde to be like- a real slim shady...... Although kindly pointed out by my friend It could go very wrong and i could just end up all bold!!!!! which let’s face it..... probs not going to help my pulling skills with Jessie J.
So any ways amongst the hot star-studded line up, i’m hoping this random legend's here again

(random slumped drunk legend-we found a few years ago at v) (We’re still hoping that was only cider in his bottle)
Anyways be good to see that old champ ha-ha!
I also went out on Saturday in my home town with some other good friends, again I’ve learnt the lesson for the hundredth BLOODY time that I MUST EAT BEFORE I GO OUT AND THAT WHILST GETTING DRUNK CAN BE FUN....GETTING TOO DRUNK IS NOT ATTRACTIVE AT ALL.
I Seriously went for it on Saturday Night and partied like it was 1999 I was even too hungover for my favourite hangover cure- crispy bacon sarnie (bad times).

HANG OVER TIP-(CRISPY BACON.... BIT OF BROWN SAUCE.... TOASTED BREAD WITH A CUPPA (THREE SUGARS) WILL RIGHT SORT YOU OUT)
I’m not really too sure why I got so cream crackered, I think maybe it’s cause i’m going through some BIG changes right now in my life. YOU KNOW... career, relationship SPLIT and all that jazz which although is extremely scary it’s also very exciting. (Oh and I was celebrating the purchase of v tickets, and I forgot to eat before I went out).
Anyways it’s always good to let your hair down sometimes! Or whip it back and forth whatever takes your fancy.
I also enjoyed one of those lovely LITTLE advantages of being a GG Saturday evening...literally had nothing to wear but thank god my lovely ex GG had a fit top I could borrow! Advantages.
Which got me thinking if you are a GG....congratulations YOU!!!!- ‘WALKS OF SHAME ARE NOW extinct’...think about it?....if u happen to have a one night stand (be careful of course).... but if you do......they’ve always got hair strengtheners, face wipes, and clothes to borrow! Just a little perk..... thought I’d point out.
Well I hope some of you have got v tickets! Have a good week GG’S I’m off to pancake it up.
Oh in my Amy Winehouse trance-state on Saturday night i heard a bit of BLUR-GIRLS AND BOYS old school tune- hav a listen its a right classic!
